Smile: The Interview
Fun little interview this morning on Mohawk’s Felt & Wire blog with Neal Whittington, proprietor of Present & Correct and designer of the Smile poster you’ve seen here previously. Alyson Kuhn gets the story behind the piece’s cheerful anthropomorphic take on everyday objects, and spotlights other items in P&C’s ever-growing collection of modern office supplies, prints and other ephemera. We’ve had the good fortune of working with Neal and his graphic wit since 2008, and look forward to what he comes up with next.
You can see other examples of our work for the Present & Correct collection here and here. And fear not if you find something you love; Present & Correct ships worldwide from their home in London. They recently started the move to a brand new retail storefront, scheduled for a mid-December opening. If you are in London, be sure to stop in and take some pictures for us of the new shop!
